I’m really excited about this jewel of information I found! ‘The Busniness of Baking‘ is a free blog that gives great pointers and information to run a successful baking business. I’ve already learned a ton! My favorite thing I’ve learned is that I am a business. Since this is my hobby I felt weird about calling it a “business”. BUT I am making a product in exchange for goods. That is a business. I feel empowered to keep running with my joy of baking!
Next week I have a cookie order for a 1st birthday party as well as a cupcake order for a wedding. I’m getting a ton of price inquiries and my schedule is quickly filling up!! I started my FB business page to connect with others like me, that love to create in the kitchen. Now, I can see big things in my future. Dare I say it?! Quitting my waitressing job and running my own business!! There, I said it. I can see it. I am excited for the potential.
God is so good. His plans for us are so much better than we could ever hope for ourselves!!
